Summer Reading
Reading over the summer helps prepare your child for next school year and helps prevent the dreaded “summer slide”! Scholastic has some really great deals on books to help you stock up for your kiddos’ summer reading.
Two ways to order:
1. Go online to: scholastic.com/newparent
Look up my name: Kendra Skinner
Or enter our Class Code: PYFB8
Follow the instructions to place your order online by: April 30th.
2. Check off the books you want to order for your child via the flyer in your child’s daily folder and return it to me with a check payable to Scholastic Book Clubs by April 30th.
This is a great link for book title ideas - https://imaginationsoup.net/2nd-grade-summer-reading-list/
